12/12/2023 0 Comments Clown brave little toasterWe get to the air conditioner scene, my shroomed up ass ends up thinking that the boy stuck his hand in the air conditioner and died.(he goes on a rant and says something like “it’s not my fault he couldn’t play with me, his arms couldn’t reach my dials, it’s not my function!!!!” And explodes. I was warned ahead of hand it would be dark. I was at my girlfriends house and we all too magic mushrooms, I took 6 dried grams (can’t remember the strain if I was given a strain name, this was 2008. The first time I saw this movie I was 18. John Lasseter and Joe Ranft being so intricately involved in each at once point or another is also fascinating. The relationship between a boy and his…appliances…is a lot less endearing compared to that of a boy and his toys. I’ve heard it referred to as a “Prototype” of Toy Story, which is a fair assertion. You can definitely see how the ending sequence at the Junkyard may have lead to Cars or even Wall-E (which, I don’t think is a stretch when you see all the Toy Story influences.) Sometimes I feel like it’s a mandatory watch for Pixar employees, (or perhaps staff involved with Toaster inserting their past work into new films.) And, seeing how Toy Story kicked off an entirely new age of cinema (which The Brave Little Toaster was, in itself, once planned to do instead) it’s shocking how little recognition it gets nowadays. Toy Story 3 in particular takes a lot of ideas from here, as does, oddly enough “Toy Story That Time Forgot* having a hell of a lot in common with The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars.īut, you can find bits and pieces of The Brave Little Toaster in all the films. Going all the way up to 4, it’s influence on the Toy Story films is extremely evident. ![]() It’s fascinating to watch in conjunction with the Toy Story films. I took the kids on the skids where the Hopi Who would believe they would love me and leave ![]() There were bikinis and buns there were weenies Just living with the stuff I have learned. I beg your pardon, it's quite hard enough He kept forgetting, his loneliness letting I was the top of the line, out of sight out of mind, I must confess I'm impressed how I did it ![]() Don't have the heart to live in the fast lane
